- About Me:
- Born and raised in Oregon. Went to nursing school in San Diego and moved back to the Portland area. I work on-call in a nearby hospital--work as a post-partum nurse for the last year. Prior to this position, I worked on a med/surg. floor for 5 years. I spend most of my free-time with my boys. Since I work on-call, most of my days are spent with my boys.
I am silly, honest, sensitive, light-hearted, see the good in everything and everyone. I love to laugh--do it daily in fact, have had the best of friends since elementary school, and love my family! I cannot wait (really I can) for my boys to be old enough for family game night, long bike rides, and backpacking trips.

- Thank you for the comment. As Shey mentioned below there is a great Single parents group on Meetup.com. I found the group right after I left my x. I made a lot of good friends. They do events where you can bring your kids and let them play while you get to have some adult conversation. Good luck on your new journey in life!!

- Thanks for the picture comments! He loved that book! He's now into The Wide Mouth Frog and a series of books which focuses on dinosaurs. His favorite is How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night?
My ex and I use to call him Ty-Ty, but not we call him Ty or Tyler. However, when he's in trouble, we call him Tyler McKay...or we use all three names when he's REALLY in trouble;)
