Sadly, i have been better. My daughters father has done nothing but stir up more and more trouble. I am trying to stay positive for my little girls sake but its really been a struggle. As much as i want her to know him he is making it almost impossible for me to know i am being a good mom b/c he always makes me feel so bad. I ask myself all the time "why did i sleep with such an idiot?" lol :)

Hello. I was born in Detroit (Southfield, actually). Then I grew up in Grand Rapids. I moved out west when I was 20 and had every intention of going back after school. It did not work out that way.
I looooove being on my own with my daughter. I miss MI. The snow and the lakes and the loving friends. I have theories about the MI. It's a rather special place.

I have lived and learned but I don't want to love?

Lately men have been throwing themselves at me. Example "Hey Laura you should stop by when your free?" The way I understand "free" is without the baby. I am rarely without Jaclyn. I eat breath and live for my child. I just don't think some "non-fathers" have any idea what it means to see every moment that I am not at work I cherish. Enough to make you nutty!

Life where to start? Today Jaclyn and I went to the cottage for much needed rest and relaxation. The lake has such a calming effect on me. I breathe better and I am definitely going to sleep better. Its hard....being new...

I never knew how amazing being a parent would be. I always dreamed of being a parent in the more conventional way. (I must confess so did my family.)
