- I've pretty eclectic tastes in music...love reggae, 80's, r&b, hip hop, classic & alternative rock...couldn't do techno, trance, electronica...and can't really get into country...
- About Me:
- I'm an island girl (think Hawaii) that has found her way to life in the big city (think L.A.)... Though I've grown to love life here in So Cali after almost 10 years, I miss the peace and serenity of being near the ocean and will definitely have to move closer to the coast at some point during this adventure... I'm blessed with 3 *only* children who never fail to delight, frustrate, and amaze me, only on days that end in the letter "y"...I say *only* children because at the ages of 23, 18, and 5 they are all at very different stages in their lives...I have learned that there are changes I need to make in me before I become part of an "us"...I'm blessed to have some very wonderful friends, that are caring and supportive and have absolutely no qualms about telling me that I'm being stupid, when I'm being stupid...I'm living proof that faith in God and prayer can work miracles in one's life...In so many ways I am truly blessed, even though I let life get the best of me from time to time and totally forget this... I constantly strive to overcome negative thoughts, which always seem so much easier to have than positive ones and am making great progress in this...I need to work on punctuality...life has put me in a position where I am constantly reminded that each and every day is precious and therefore, I should make the most of it... A diagnosis of cancer is NOT a death sentence...I choose life...
