- Your comment brought tears to my eyes. I'm in the process of moving, and every object seems to hold memories... precious memories. Never in a million years would I think I would end up divorced. - Hello Todd, I saw your shout out question... "Do you eventually get over being alone?" I have such mixed feelings about that. To put things in perspective, I am in the middle of a divorce that has been going on since July, and we are just now separating. I think I'll have to force myself to find new friends, activities, and hobbies. But it is so hard when the person who is supposed to be the one: the one to share with, the one to talk with, the one to cuddle up in bed with is no longer there. My thoughts are nothing lasts forever. Being lonely is just plain sucky, but try and use it as an opportunity for growth. I wish you peace and love.
