So glad I found iHeart - really. It's great to "hang out" with people who can relate and understand what we're all going through - the good stuff, of course!

It's been just the two of us since Aidan was conceived, really. We are two peas in a pod and he is my best buddy.

What are your hobbies and interests?

My interests are really varied. I spend as much time as I can outside while the weather is nice. I'm also a fan of movies and books - especially on rainy days. I would like to travel more!

What type of music do you like?

Hard to describe. In my iTunes library you will find everything from Madonna to Jay-Z to Rufus Wainwright for God's sake.

It's a mess!

What's spinning right now - I have a new mixed CD from a neighbor that has some cool stuff on it - I like "World of My Own Reality" (Frankie somebody???), and I have Dave Matthews & Tim Reynold's Lost Acoustics in my CD player at the moment...

I also have to say that it's because I used to throw a lot of parties and there is such a thing as party music. Some of that stuff I would NEVER listen to just to veg out.

What's up wit dat? Friday Oct 24

When I was in high school, our school newspaper had a column called "What's up wit dat?" that was published every Friday. I loved that column. It was perfect to me because much of what I was thinking was there, in list form, and it was usually very funny.

I'm not that funny in general, but I do have a list of my own '"What's up wit dat?" questions that I continually ask myself. So I've decided to re-instate this column here with my captive iheart audience.

OK so most of you know by now that I'm not exactly an Obama supporter, but my client and some friends of his have produced a Barack Lobster video that you Obama fans should like. There's also a website they put together at http://www.baracklobster.us that you'd like, too.

Bummed

I'm completely bummed as I discovered today that the job I was going for was given to someone else. Ugh! There are so few technical jobs here that I was really hoping for that one. This is the first time I've not been offered a job that I interviewed for.

So today a shadow has been cast, already, and it's only 10:50 AM. TOTAL BUMMER!

Dating: feast or famine?

Anybody ever notice this in their lives? Dating feast or famine is what I call it. It's the crazy pendulum of attracting NO interest and attracting too much. It always comes in threes for me (the feast part). So confusing.

If something were to happen

I had a really morbid thought as I was waiting for the inspection to be completed on my car this morning. I dropped Aidan at daycare. After reading the paper I got bored and my mind started to wander.

I saw a poster out of the corner of my eye about safety belts and airbags, etc. It got me thinking about what would happen if I got into a bad car accident at some point during the day, when Aidan was at daycare.
