What are your hobbies and interests?

I love to garden and be outdoors, doing anything. I love to grow lots of herbs and perennials as well as have a decent sized vegetable garden. I am a voracious reader, when I have the time. I have found a creative streak and enjoy beading jewelry and doing some woodburning and painting.

Right now my biggest hobby is trying to find a JOB! LOL....

What type of music do you like?

I have very, very eclectic music tastes ~ I love Josh Groban, Loreena Mckennitt, Sarah McLachlan, Gaia Consort, Linkn Park, Gaelic Storm, Enya, Nickleback, Lonestar, Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, Everlast., etc............A very eclectic mix of music as I said, including the classicals and the list goes on and on....LOL.

About Me:

Sigh...I hate these sections....smile. I am a MOM, duh. I have 2 very busy boys, ages 8 and 11. They aren't involved in a thousand extracurricular acivities, just always on the go. I have 2 dogs, Bandit and Chase, and 1 cat, Athena - she definitely has the Goddess attitude down pat!

Me ~ I am a registered nurse, have been for the past 16 years. Currently looking for a job. Due to divorce, finances, etc. I had to relocate from NC to VA and I am living with my parents for the moment. ARGH!! I never imagined that at 44 I would be living at home with 2 kids and a small zoo. But we single parents do what we must for our kids. However, if we don't get out of here soon I will be in a padded room with a pitcher of margharitas....grin.

I love the outdoors and nature in particular. Consider myself a "green" person as much as possible. Not fanatical, but if it will help the earth and I can do it, I do. It is my dream to own a piece of land and big old house and become as self sustainable as possible. I am not a city girl, very much a country girl.....however I leave the redneck up to my brother.....grin. I am spiritual but not religious and I am very open minded about people choosing their own paths.

I would love to find a partner in life....I still believe in love and the faery tale. I just want someone to believe in me, as I am, and love me for that person. Not who they think I should be. And in return they will get a lot more than they bargained for....smile. I'm an honest, kind, loving, passionate woman with a lot to give should someone take the time to really look.

I am so pissed off right now and I have no outlet to get rid of the anger

And I feel that I must not fit in here because I am a little "different" than most of you. I walk a different path. But that is neither here nor there.

I have made some grandly stupid mistakes in the past year and I guess now I am paying for them in spades by being made to live here with my parents. It's all good is pretty much my life motto and has been for the last 6 years since getting custody of my holy terror on wheel's, good times and bad wouldn't trade them for nothing.
As for the racing hahahaha my kiddo has plans already in his head of top fuel and nitro, he is gonna start junior lightning leagues next year and are slowly building his as wee speak, that and a lot cheaper than dad's is at the moment.
Even though times are tough at your parent's it really could be much worse, I have pretty much had to figure it out completly solo, with very little or no help from family or friends but in the end made me tough as nails and at times a little too Indendent, but I managed to end up with the best friend I have ever known in my son and son's so like I said.
It's all good.

And thank you for your comment's but that is not a rare picture, that is the norm, wether it be quads, fishing and camping or just hanging out, I have 2 much older boys and have been that way with them all.
Usually if one see's me coming or going my son or son,s are always with me.

Spent plenty of time in Winston-Salem when I was married, though, since that's where the in-laws were. Hey, I moved back home and lived with my parents for a while, too. Not fun, but necessary. It has its good and bad sides, eh? :-)
