I rarely find a slide show like this but I'd like you guys to see it, to get a better idea of what Houston is like. It's a bunch of pictures of things to do under $30, and Maddy and I have done most of them. All of the museums are within a mile of my house so we go all the time. And the cool shots of our skyline, right near my house too.Maybe this isn't how you pictured Houston if you've never been here, so enjoy it.

OK I have a big surprise for you all. I'm installing these stainless and glass stairs in a new home today and tomorrow. I'm curious to see it finished b/c I've never seen/built anything like it. It's a nail biter too, since I have to drill holes in a granite floor and wall. So I'll put up pictures tomorrow when it's done. I hope this house ends up in Dwell (magazine). There's a good chance.
