Best thing about being a Single P...

There are SO many things I like about being single, getting to sleep when I feel like it, having my own space, having a clean house, being able to come and go when I please on my "off" nights, being able to talk to or hang out with my friends, being able to eat what and when I feel like...the list goes on!

What are your hobbies and interests?

I am a total computer geek ( I live on my laptop) and workaholic...and I like it. I am a movie junkie, I like to listen to music, I enjoy coffee and conversation with friends, I completely enjoy hanging out with my kids, I like to paint and write poetry and stories, I love to connect with PEOPLE.

What type of music do you like?

HAPPY music - any genre! I have to be careful with country though - it makes me CRY!

About Me:

I am happy single - just looking for friends and conversation right now! I spent 23 years being married and at this time I am completely embracing figuring out WHO I am. I am enjoying getting to do the things I never could before.

I have given birth to 5 children; a 19 yo daughter who is a banker, an 18 yo son who is a US Marine, a 12yo daughter who will be a rock star or stand up comic, a 9yo son who is a guitar prodigy, and a 4yo princess who rules the house. All but the Marine still live with me.

I have shared custody of my kids, they are with me 4 of 7 days. Dad lives 10 minutes away and we made this arrangement to keep their lives as stable as possible. If you ask my kids, they think they are 'lucky' to have two homes and two sets of everything! the divorce is a positive thing for the whole fmaily - my ex and I are FAR better friends than we ever were spouses.

Professionally I am a Coach, Professional Speaker, and Author, and own a couple of small businesses. I am a very social person and get as much enjoyment out of internet friendships as I do live social events.

The biggest obstacle I have encountered with being single is that the majority of my friends are busy with work and family, and my oldest daughter is hardly ever home now. Some nights I get a little lonely for conversation... and I gues that's why I'm here...?
