I think it depends on the person... but I am not drawn to bad boys. I think some ink is sexy, and some is not. Confidence... now that is sexy!

DONT DO IT!!! yes tats can be good, but people either love them or hate them, and personally I dont like them on the guy i'm dating!! They are like a "no touch zone" for me!! dont know why but touching peoples tats creeps me out. it is easier to p...

I like tattoos myself but a guy better have a story behind it all not just getting one because he's drunk for for the sake of getting inked ya know? I've dated plenty of VERY sexy men without tattoos too! I don't think a tattoo is going to get a g...

I personally have a couple tattoos, and plan to get more in the future... and I think tats on men are HOT. :D But do NOT get a tattoo unless you are okay with seeing that picture on your saggy droopy skin at age 90. LOL Don't get one b/c you think...

Oh dear you are looking at making a decision about your body and your beliefs based on what other people think. That alone means you shouldn't get one. Tats are forever and if you don't have the commitment to your body and the sight of them, they ...

About Me:
I have been divorced for 4 years. My son lives with me and my daughter lives with my ex. I haven't really had time to get out and find anyone new, but I am at least attempting to make an effort. So, I have resorted to on line for now in hopes of making a connection, but in this world that I warn my kids about so often (cyber) I realize that it is going to be tough to win a ladies trust. I now have a good job again, for those of you who may have read this profile in the past. No more nights! Wow I hated that but it payed the bills! I also now get my weekends free! That made my kids very happy!

Hi Paul. Thanks for asking about the storm. Yes, we fared through Ike fairly well -- lots of deadfall, light wind damage, some mild water issues, but still no power. School still hasn't started for the Senior but little guy started today. Hope all is well for you & yours? Peachy

Hey Paul, thanks for your comments. I was in transition for awhile but am into the new house and have my internet back. Definitely will work on rounding up the East Coast. Wow, iheart really grew while I was gone. I'm in a really nasty custody battle right now and unpacking is a real pain in the you know what, but I'll see what I can get going. Hope things are well with you!

Hey Paul! Thanks for your comments. Yes, they do keep us running! I wouldn't have it any other way, though. BTW, my real name is Linda . . . some of my friends call me Lindy and Lindylou was a nickname from childhood. I guess when I signed up I didn't know that much about the site so I didn't want myself identified immediately. Women have to be careful online. Hope you will accept the friend invite; I am trying to get out there and meet new people and enjoy life even more than I already do (is that possible? LOL!) :-)

Hi sugar! Thought about you while on 2nd street drinking a cocktail while the kids scarfed Italian food down like there was no tomorrow. Great vacation -- missed chatting with you though. Talk soon. Peachy

Hi Paul, Enjoyed chatting with you also. The other part is teaching the kids how to stay calm, be patient, and the big one (learn to put oneself in listening mode and make sure to understand what the other person is saying and vice versa) -- sort of like playing tennis -- need to make sure the other person receives the ball and that the other person can hit it back :-) . Its key for work and other relationships. Yes agree respect for friends, teachers and others too.

Wow, the commute is long but it seems like you are used to it. If I needed to do that long I'd try to take a train if I could so I could sleep :-). I moved to Portland in 1995, when I was still married, my ex had a job offer here -- my divorce finalized about 4 years ago and decided to stay here to keep stability for the kids and to finish my graduate school (it had started before my divorce began).

Hi Paul, thanks for inviting me to join ... I didn't know this group existed since I'm new. Raising teenagers is very different its about us learning to let go of more and believing we have taught our children enough to make the right decision. It is also about our children learning to be more accepting of their parents as they realize their shortcomings :-) and about maintaining respect on both ends when there are disagreements. And I guess a whole lot more... they are close to adulthood but mmmmmm not quite there yet :-)
P.S. I grew up on the East coast in NY but have lived in Portland now for little over 10 years

Thanks for the invite; I will join the group. Life with a teen is always interesting at the least.
