If one more person says to me "don't worry dear you're young, you'll find a father for him in no time" I may actually not get to see my son grow up as I may be in jail. So what? So every guy i date I should consider for fatherhood? Please. Is it soo bad if my son never has a father? Everyday I see families that are far worse off then single parents and, yet, we are pitied. Poor us. Life is so hard. We are the center of our children's world and raise them our own way, but we are to be pitied. I'm not saying it's not hard, but C'mon! Give me your respect. Pity the poor saps who opted out of their child's life. OH and for the love...please don't size every guy up as a potential father. It scares me as much as him. I know the right people won't read this, but I figured a few of you out there could empathize.
