For parents who have their children 100%, no visitations or contact with the other parent... Basically they are MIA. How do you deal with it? the questions from others? How do we keep our children emotionally healthy?

- I'm a 24 year old guy that is raising a little 2 year girl name Faith. I work as a Marine and have a hectic weekly schedule. Been all over the world and seen enough of it. Still up in the air if I'll stay in for another 4 years or get out. But I have been able to balance both work and home. I was married for almost two years and separated from my spouse when I got back from deployment. I currently have full custody of my child and enjoy every minute of it. I enjoy all of the weird looks I get when I tell people that I'm a single parent. Plus I have to overcome a lot of stereotypes and jump through hoops to get to where I'm at today.

A little up date
I can't believe that it is almost May! It has been 1 year since I started my divorce and waiting on my custody issues to be resolved from the ex-wife. I still have primary custody of Faith and she is getting bigger and busy exploring her surroundings.My next challenge will be potty training!!

Crazy week....
Well, it has been one of those weeks that I wish I could hit the rewind button and start over. I've been winding down my last few weeks in good routine and getting things ready for the holidays. I have been in the driver's seat of my custody battle and been cruising in the slow lane until my court date in February. Got that weird feeling again!!
The past few weeks have been very awkward for me and it seems like I'm in a state of mixed feelings. I've been taking care of my daughter for always 2 1/2 months straight with out her mother. Its been 1 year since I left.
Today was a day of reflection for me. As I was sitting in my office trying to accomplish my tasks and missions for the day. I couldn't stop thinking about how crazy a year has past. This time last year I sailed out of San Diego Harbor to an unknown location and wondering if I would ever return. I spent Thanksgiving passing Wake Island in the Pacific.
