- I have many interests... those of you who know me know this... Most of all seeing smiles on the faces of the ones I love...especially my son. I love getting out on the lake ....I also LOVE fitness, my job (who wouldn't love selling beds!?) being pampered...I love music and singing, even though I don't think I am fabulous at it... but I do alright. I LOVE dancing!!! I really like going to museums, plays, and anything that will stimulate my mind and soul...PLANS FOR THE WINTER: LEARN TO SKI/SNOWBOARD...whichever comes first and I think I might have found just the right person to teach me ;-)
- What type of music do you like?
- I love almost all types of music... but I definitely have favorites! I have been checking out some really awesome stuff as far as music goes...The Spill Canvas, Katy Perry Metro Station...etc. Some of my top played on my Ipod: Journey, Tina Turner, Paramore, Finger 11, anything that Timbaland had anything to deal with, Justin Timberlake, Foreigner, Roxette, Maroon 5, anything 80s, Beatles, and also anything I can dance to (this includes some Techno type stuff anything with Freemasons mix attached to it is game!!!!.... I LOVE TO DANCE! I mean REALLY love to dance, those of you who know me know this very well!! :) I can be sober as heck, but I will dance the night away if I have a chance to. Especially when I am decked out with some really cute heals on!! :)

- I am 27 year old single working mom. Being an urban working mom does not afford me the time to go out and meet people in the traditional sense. I am interested in meeting other single parents to swap stories with and share interests with. Someone with kids around the same age as my son would be great. I believe that traveling shouldn't just be an escape, it should be a holiday! I believe in Christmas, Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Valentines Day, Easter, and all the Joys that come with those days. I believe that we shouldn't require a holiday to celebrate those days! I believe in elegance, & class. I believe in pedicures. I believe in comtemporary ideas and styles, however in my heart I think I am a little bit of a traditionalist. I beleive in pampering, and I believe it should go both ways! I believe in waking every morning with a smile...it makes the day go so much better. I believe in athleticism. I believe in peace. I believe in charity and good will. I believe that our will power can get us through almost any situation. I believe God never gave me anything I couldn't handle. I believe that my dryer is the worst piece of poop, and the folks at my apartments should replace it! I believe in freshly chopped wood in the fireplace. I believe in sunlight. I believe in playfulness. I believe in heaven and hell. I believe that our past makes us who we are, it shouldn't break us but make us stronger. I believe in irony. I believe I must be one of the happiest women alive, because I am me, living my life...and it is good!

Negativity

The Game of Life
My mom asked my coworker and I to read this book she has called the Game of Life by Florence Scovel Shinn. This book is very similar to the book "The Secret." There is a chapter about love that totally hits home to me... and I thought I would share a passage from the book.

You drive too slow!!!
Ok so this morning I realized one of my pet peaves. I think I realized this a long time ago, but this morning it came out with avengence.
I was on my way to meeting my cousin Piper, who I rarely get to see often. I was so excited about seeing her because of the length of time that has gone by since I saw her last. I was driving North on I-5, when this crazy thing happened...not once, but 3 times!!!

See if you can push for the max sentence. One of the kids who stole my car was a juvi and they kept letting him out. 3 yrs later he killed two kids in a drug deal gone bad. I wished had made a stronger impact statement. Grinches!
Tu sucks. But at least they did not get your car and they got caught. I had my car broken into twice in 2 months in Canada. Had the car stolen and i got back minus everything in and it was heavily damaged. I now have a sticker on my car that says ...
