What are your hobbies and interests?

I am a writer; love to read, am into photography, and REALLY want to get some sort of canoe so I can go out and explore all the awesome waterways in the Seattle area.

I also love the ocean (especially in winter); camping; travel; movies, and spending time with my family.

What type of music do you like?

Lots. I like everything from country to Cold Play. Right now, I'm into 10th Avenue North and Mandisa.

About Me:

I'm the single mom of eight kids - two the old fashioned way who are now in college (one is getting married!); and the rest by adoption through foster care. I've been single a very long time, but not through choice, it's just worked out that way.

Right now, I have four kids at home: a 17 yo girl, 9 yo boy, 8 yo boy, and 4 (!) yo boy. All are adopted except the 4 yo, he is still in the foster care system.

I am working on writing and having a life in my "free" time.
