It occurred to me as I was picking every last piece of candy and cookie dough out of the ice cream...directly from the ice cream container...and leaving boring, ransacked plain old ice cream behind...that this type of behavior may, perhaps, not be viewed favorably by a future significant other should that opportunity present itself again.

If I am ever so lucky, think we may need to have his and hers ice cream containers in my future house. Definitely.

OK, so I admit it...I was secretly envious of this darling couple that lived until recently in a rental house two doors down from me. They came from Washington state and had landed in Michigan so the husband could complete a medical residency. Why was I so jazzed about them? I don't know. They just seemed, I don't know, so cool and in love.

And they had a ridiculously cool dog that they'd rescued from the Caribbean, while down there for another internship or something. But I digress.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not belittling it in any way! But the only thing I can think of when I read it is:

1) The Wiggles. Seriously? Does anyone understand the point to this show? Granted, I usually am subjected to it before I've even had a cup of coffee in the morning, so maybe I'm just too fuzzy...but I find myself wondering what the writers of this show are on when they sit down to brainstorm an episode. Sometimes, I feel this big *zing* of clarity. Like this perfect homeostasis where everything seems to be completely in balance in my life. Not often, but when these moments hit me, I just want to quickly find a way to bottle them and have a little in reserve for all the times when I'm out of my mind or making some lunatic decision.
