About Me:
I have one son, he is 3. Life has thrown me some curve balls, and has made me realize that the things that affect the people you love can have such a strong ripple effect on those around us. I'm trying to live more in the "now" because really that's all we have. I know we are all connected and I'm excited to connect with other single parents on this site!

Oh wow, Clare - I just checked out you Clarifydesigns link and your stuff looks cutting edge. That is cool that you follow and promote sustainability. I'm a wine salesman and it's great to see that many of our wineries are going sustainable, biodynamic, and organic. Actually a surprising number were doing it before it was en vogue and basically just had to apply for the certification. Take care!

Hi Clare! Thank you so much for co-creating this wonderful haven for single parents who are more interested in being parents than hooking up, and even more credit for keeping it up and building interest. Still a newbie, but I've already met some wonderful people.

Maybe at some point Shay and I can make one of the famed Portland meetups. We're talking about road tripping from Denver to Alaska next summer - Portland would be a nice stopover. Thanks again for all that you do!

You are an inspiration. Thank you. I found this site at just the right time, I was feeling very alone in the world. I am living with my parents with 2 kids, 2 dogs and a cat....cramped isn't the word. No job and I'm a nurse so that says something about the economy in my little corner. It seems I have "lost" my so called "friends" from my old place in NC and boy was I feeling in the pits. While I am sorry that some of the folks here are going through the same things, it's nice to know I am not alone, and it is also nice to know that people are overcoming the losses they have endured.
