I used to be picky. Now I find that I usually enjoy anything that seems genuine, especially when it's live and in a small venue. Vague, I know.

About Me:

Still kind of new to Chicago, I'm trying to find the balance between work (it's also my passion) fatherhood and social life. I often find the social scene to be the toughest part because being divorced with two kids at 29 is apparently not that common. I've gotten very used to the 'what? really? how old are you?' response. I either seem old and lame to all of my youngish friends who feel certain that life ends when you have kids, or I seem like the young kid to all of my friends a decade older but who have children. Needless to say, this extends itself into my dating life. However, aside from those sometimes awkward moments that leave me to explaining my situation, I absolutely love being a young dad. They're constantly making me smile and reminding me that there are no ordinary moments.
