Good idea. Great chance for us to practice acceptance of those with different cultures. My daughter and I spent the most hope-filled day of the last year peacefully protesting the passage of Prop 8. We don't like our experience of being treated unequally under so many laws. I don't like the taxation penalty. I can't afford the financial consequences of separate and unequal family law. It is high time that we become equal citizens.

My 3yo daughter and I thank you for listening.

I'm curious to learn the viewpoints of different single parents about the protests that were going on this Saturday about a California law regarding same-sex marriages. Is that an appropriate thread for this group, or is that too touchy a subject? I know that gay marriage can get almost as sensitive as abortion, so maybe that's not a good idea.

Out with the old...Watch this little video and you will be reminded of one reason its a good thing some change is coming...(obviously losing our civil liberties, a for-profit war, and terrible corruption are MORE important...but having an idiot as president is still a reason indeed.)

That infomercial wes pure indoctrination! Now were finding out about more ties to radicals who strongly dislike Isreal. Remember, an autobiography is a collection of stories and lies to promote ones legacy, not necessarily the truth. just my .02

I didn't get to watch Obama's infomercial when it aired, and just finished. It was so moving, I am sitting here in tears... I am so impressed with this man. Am in the middle of his autobiography and it's such amazing stuff.
