Emotionally Healthy = Physically Healthy?

Neither our bodies, minds, heart, or spirit exist in a vacuum: each is fundamentally dependent on the others in order for us to be healthy and whole. Most of us have experienced the physical effects that depression, mental strain or stress can have on our bodies, or the euphoria of a really good day that makes every ache or pain go away. We know that sleep can have an impact on our minds and emotions as well as our physical energy levels. In fact, our emotions are fundamentally connected with all aspects of health.

I am having the same issue. I can lose 10-15 lbs, and then it stops. I am currently using LA weightloss, and have been the same weight since February! they make me feel like it is "just me" and their program "should work" so frustrating

I feel your pain, Katie. I gained 90lbs while pregnant with my son. I managed to lose all but 10lns over the course of 9 months through daily walking and breastfeeding. Are you nursing?

thank you! your kids are adorable! i wonder what the eyes are saying...omg if i have anymore kids then yes i will be so more active and eat way better. i just had an extremely bad back when i was preggers and do when im not. my hips def seem wider and im sure that means something. i think i just need to get back to running when possible!

cute kid katie, those eyes are saying something...

anyway, i obviously am no professional on this subject (i did watch both a c-section and v-birth and as an observer, they are both intense), but i can say that if you have another child, you'll never (seriously) stop moving. your entire day becomes a cardio work-out.

once again, not an expert and I should have done some research on this before I open my mouth, but i would guess that the female body changes in certain ways after pregnancy in order to be prepared for future babies.

i have always been in shape and love to exercise but i gained 50 lbs during my pregnancy and am doing EVERYTHING i normally do to loose weight and its not dropping! i eat right, walk for atleast an hour a day hike on the weekends and drink plenty of water. how did everyone else loose their weight?
