Love the group! I go to a great church in West Linn OR call Southlake.....If your looking for a church you should give it a try!!!

Hello everyone,

It's been quite some time since I've been on here, but am trying to get back on. A few updates for your info... I changed my blogsite and name to be a general Christ-Centered blog about my personal journey, struggles and joys. You can get there at http://girlforgod.wordpress.com Also, I am starting Seminary this fall through Asbury Theological Seminary and wondered if anyone has or is going to seminary? Hi Halie,

I go to a church called Branches in Scappoose that has several single parents and we are a half hour from where you are. Branches is a very different experience and I have grown to love it there. We should organize a group to get together in this area. TTYL!

I have an 8 month old boy.

Hey Jo-nathan,

I feel for you man. Things very hard at first and seems that there are no answers at all. But there truly is a light at the end of the tunnel and through him that made us is the only way. I went though serious depression when my ex left but God pulled me out of the darkness just in time but I did have to seek him and beg for forgiveness. So speak away and we will listen and pray for you and try to support you from a distance. Stay strong for your daughter and seek the one that resides most high over us. i don't know what to do st these places...but i nned to speak..yell really....i am alone, i am lonely i am scared i am angry i am frieghtened i am putting faith in God......
My soon to be X moved out in Jan my daughter lives w/me...I have hired a lawyer to start the court process(which she is aware of)...but at the same time we have been going to a mediator to settle everything outside of court....everything is amicable...but only because I have my daughter and left my anger and need for vengefulness in Gods hands.....
but I am very lonely I don't have but two friends around here and they have been wondeful...my family is around and the offer alot of help but are not emotionally great because I am purposefully keeping them from gettting ibto emotions w/me because I don't want to talk to them....so i want to talk to you...if you'll talk back...if not thats OK...i just need to get stuff off my chest...
there is so much more but i will stop now and talk again later.....
please pray for me and my daughter

Hi everyone,

If you are looking for a great church that other than the norm you have to check out Branches in Scappoose,Or. Its Branches.com and is only a 20 to 30 minute drive from P-town! I run sound for the worship team and service and it is the best Church I have attended yet!

I'm born again and a single mommy. I am excited to be here too. I only have 1 single mommy friend, who is a Christian. It is nice to have a group!
