Hi Everyone. Aside from being a freelance graphic designer, I have an online shop ( http://CoconutPalmDesigns.etsy.com ) where I sell handmade wooden signs and art work that I do. I am particularly focusing on my Personalized Name Signs.

Hi everyone. I am a self employed massage therapist in the Portland area. I do want a forum to talk about issues of running my own business, but am not sure that iHeart is the right place. I feel that iHeart is a place for me personally. I share a lot of private things here and honestly, it's not how I want the "public" to perceive me. I have really held back from promoting my business on this site because it make me feel vulnerable. That's just my 2cents. Anyone else feel this way?

Hi everyone - I am self-employed, too. I maintain websites and blogs, among other website-related things.

That website (link above) just went up this weekend. I also have All American Admin, which is from when I was doing general virtual assistance. I've decided to stop doing that professionally but (fingers-crossed) in Jan '09 will be launching a network/directory for US-based virtuals, using the same URL.

Will get to putting up some sort of temporary page at some point this week...

Welcome, April! TOTALLY know what you're talking about. I actually started my business to ensure I'd be able to afford being a single parent! :) Congrats for your guts!

Hi all,

I'm new here, to both i<3SP and this group. I just started my own Virtual Assistant business.

Its tough being a single parent AND starting your own business. Glad to know there are others who will understand.
